PREMIUM PARTS
Wood and construction
Every Monolith begins with a carefully selected piece of premium, FSC-certified wood, chosen for its quality, consistency and character.
At the core of the instrument is a three-piece neck construction, engineered for long-term stability. Two integrated carbon-fiber reinforcement rods further strengthen the neck, helping it remain rigid and consistent under string tension.
For precise setup, the neck features an adjustable truss rod. Its access is discreetly hidden beneath a magnetic cover made to match the fretboard, keeping the construction clean and uninterrupted while allowing easy adjustment whenever needed.
THE Pickup
Meet the Monolith Pickup Module, developed by Till Westphal of Nova Innovative Pickup Systems in close collaboration with Stefan Huth.
The Monolith features two individually voiced single-coil pickups, one at the neck and one at the bridge, controlled by a 3-way switch for neck / both / bridge selection.
Each pickup section has its own independent volume control, operated by a recessed knurled knob. The controls stay protected and out of the way while remaining easy to adjust during playing.
And while you get the clarity, openness and character of a true single coil, you don’t get the unwanted hum. A dedicated dummy coil positioned underneath the pickup provides effective hum cancellation without taking away its single-coil character. This is the frequency range of the voicing.
The stereo output jack is positioned on the back of the pickup module, allowing a 90-degree plug to route the cable straight down for a clean, unobtrusive setup.
Nut and Bridge
The nut and bridge system, designed by Fabian Bahnen in collaboration with Stefan Huth and carefully crafted by our friends at PARADOX Sound in Greece, brings precision and flexibility to every string.
String height can be individually adjusted at both ends of the instrument, allowing each string to be dialed in exactly where it needs to be.
The entire system is made from premium anodized aluminum, with meticulous attention paid to every detail. Even the adjustment screws are precision-crafted specifically for this bridge, making them an integral part of the design rather than an off-the-shelf component.
Variable and exchangable mounting system
The Monolith is designed to adapt to the player not the other way around. Its modular mounting system allows the instrument to be configured for different playing positions and techniques.
Every instrument comes with a premium leather strap and a fully adjustable belt hook. A precision ball joint allows the belt hook to be freely positioned and angled, letting each player find their preferred playing position.
For players who prefer playing the Monolith on their lap, the entire mounting system can be removed quickly with a single screw, leaving the instrument clean and unrestricted.
An optional stand-mounting accessory will also be available, allowing the Monolith to rest securely on a stand or be played directly from it.
Tools and ACCESories
The Monolith comes ready to play, with carefully selected premium accessories to match the instrument.
Included with every instrument is a premium leather strap with Dunlop Straplok system, a high-quality Sommer stereo cable with split adapter, and all necessary tools for setup and adjustment.
A premium padded transport bag, designed to protect the Monolith on the road and in storage, is available separately.
Strings
The strings are an essential part of the Monolith. That’s why we use custom string sets developed specifically for our instruments, designed to deliver balanced tone, accurate intonation and consistent performance across the entire range.
Made for us by PYRAMID in Germany, the strings feature a contact core at the bridge end and an exposed core at the tuner end. This purpose-built construction allows for an exceptionally low action while maintaining reliable tuning and response.
The contact-core design also helps create a more even tonal balance across the complete string set, blending naturally with the nickel-plated strings for a consistent sound and feel from string to string.
